Road Fibers are fibers made from abrasive materials that are added to the surface of a road or highway to increase vehicle tire traction, enabling vehicles to have improved maneuverability and slow more quickly. The shape of many fibers and the abrasive properties of the fibers contribute to improving vehicle tire traction. For already built roads and highways, glue is applied to the surface of the road or highway, then the Road Fibers are applied over the glue, where the glue bonds the abrasive fibers to the surface of the road or highway. For new roads and highways, the abrasive fibers are added to the surface of the unset asphalt or unset concrete without the glue, then the abrasive fibers are pressed into the unset asphalt or unset concrete, where the abrasive fibers are secured to the surface of the road or highway when the asphalt or concrete sets.
